| 520 | 3 | _aIntroducción: El derecho al acceso a la información y la legislación inherente a este tema ha sido ponderado como una garantía personalísima y trascendental en la vida cotidiana y que deber ser protegida por el Estado. Objetivo: evaluar la ley de acceso a la información (2008) aprobada para el Ecuador y sus fortalezas pragmáticas y funcionales. Métodos científicos: se emplearon los analíticos como el analítico deductivo y la técnica de análisis de documentos. Conclusiones: El derecho de acceso a la información pública ha ocasionado mucho interés desde la doctrina en las últimas décadas. La Ley Orgánica de Transparencia y Acceso a la Información Pública, deviene en mecanismo de procedimiento para garantizar este derecho. Garantiza la procuración, acceso y gestión de la información por los ciudadanos del Ecuador. Los principales criterios que exacerban la legislación vigente en Ecuador resultan fortalezas de esta y coadyuvan al eficaz cumplimento de la normativa. – Los Autores. | |

Objective: to evaluate the law on access to information (2008) approved for Ecuador and its pragmatic and functional strengths. Scientific methods: analytical methods such as the deductive analytic and the document analysis technique were used. Conclusions: The right of access to public information has caused a lot of interest from the doctrine in the last decades. The Organic Law on Transparency and Access to Public Information becomes a procedural mechanism to guarantee this right. It guarantees the procurement, access and management of information by the citizens of Ecuador. The main criteria that exacerbate the current legislation in Ecuador are its strengths and contribute to the effective compliance with the regulations. -- Los Autores. | |
