Objetivo: El presente estudio tuvo como propósito desarrollar un análisis bibliométrico de la producción científica sobre el pensamiento sistémico en estudiantes, contenida en la base de datos Scopus entre los años 2000 y 2022. <br/>Diseño/Metodología/Enfoque: Se fundamentó en un análisis bibliométrico descriptivo y cuantitativo, utilizando palabras clave en inglés (systems, thinking y Students) en la búsqueda, para obtener indicadores de producción científica como el año de publicación, país, fuente, institución de filiación, tipo, autor y área temática. Se elaboró una base de datos bibliográfica en Excel, para su posterior procesamiento y generación de tablas y gráficos. <br/>Resultados/Discusión: De los 361 documentos seleccionados, se observó un aumento del número de trabajos académicos publicados entre 2014 y 2022 para un total de 258 documentos (71.5%). La mayoría de estos trabajos (70%) fueron artículos científicos, y casi la mitad (48%) desarrollados en el área de ciencias sociales, siendo Estados Unidos (27,6%) y el Reino Unido (10,3%) los países con mayor producción científica. <br/>Conclusiones: El estudio contribuye sustancialmente a la comunidad científica aportando datos sobre el pensamiento sistémico en estudiantes, relacionados con las temáticas más desarrolladas, los autores con más publicaciones, las fuentes con mayor visibilidad, los países e instituciones más productivas, el año de producción y el tipo de documento generado. <br/>Originalidad/Valor: La relevancia de la temática en función de los indicadores estudiados, contribuye a la creación de nuevos documentos sobre el pensamiento sistémico en estudiantes, recurso importante para evaluar las nuevas tendencias de investigación y las aportaciones realizadas por nuevos autores. Objective: The purpose of this study was to develop a bibliometric analysis of the scientific production on systems thinking in students, contained in the Scopus database between 2000 and 2022. <br/>Design/Methodology/Approach: It was based on a descriptive and quantitative bibliometric analysis, using keywords in English (systems, thinking and Students) in the search, to obtain indicators of scientific production such as year of publication, country, source, institution of affiliation, type, author and thematic area. A bibliographic database was prepared in Excel for subsequent processing and generation of tables and graphs. <br/>Results/Discussion: Of the 361 papers selected, an increase in the number of academic papers published between 2014 and 2022 was observed for a total of 258 papers (71.5%). Most of these papers (70%) were scientific articles, and almost half (48%) developed in the area of social sciences, with the United States (27.6%) and the United Kingdom (10.3%) being the countries with the highest scientific production. <br/>Conclusions: The study contributes substantially to the scientific community by providing data on systems thinking in students, related to the most developed topics, the authors with the most publications, the sources with the highest visibility, the most productive countries and institutions, the year of production and the type of document generated. <br/>Originality/value: The relevance of the subject matter according to the indicators studied contributes to the creation of new documents on systems thinking in students, an important resource for evaluating new research trends and the contributions made by new authors.
